I take away all the stress from the process. I’ll help you prepare before the shoot (including what to wear and what to say to the children!) and I’ll take control on the day of our shoot so you can relax.
I’ll lead your family through a series of age-appropriate games and interactions. Your children will be happy to take part, because they’re having so much fun which means you can enjoy each moment, too.
In fact, my clients (from kids to teens to grandparents) always say they were surprised by how much they enjoyed themselves – yes, even people who usually hate having their photograph taken!

I have three years’ experience working at a high street photography studio, combined with nearly two decades of experience as a solo photographer (gosh, that makes me sound old!).
I’ve photographed family groups of all sizes, from single parents through to multi-generation groups.
I’ve co-authored two books on portrait photography, both published by Ammonite Press, and my work is regularly featured in photography magazines.

How it works
Whether you’re celebrating a new (or the first!) addition to your family, capturing relatives together on a special occasion or just recording precious moments with the ones you love, I can help.
Get in contact with any initial questions you have, and I’ll send over my price list and shoot Ts&Cs.
My studio is bright, airy and minimalist – as well as warm and dry no matter what the weather’s doing outside!
Once we’ve agreed a date and time, we can get you booked in. Payment of the £75 session fee secures your booking, and I can then send over some pre-shoot tips and help you to plan your outfits.

On the day of the shoot, simply turn up and then relax; I’ll take it from there. I’ll use my games-led approach to prompt genuine expressions and interactions between your family members, and capture a series of relaxed and beautiful photos of all the group combinations (all the family, all the children, mum with kids, dad with kids and so on).
Then, a week or two after your shoot, I’ll send you a link to an online gallery containing 20 beautiful, hand-edited images for you to choose from. There will be smiles, laughter and possibly even tears as you enjoy a slideshow set to music, featuring stunning images of the ones you love most.
At this point, you can choose what you want to keep, with absolutely no pressure whatsoever: buy only what you love. But be warned: you’ll probably love them all!
