I’m an award-winning, qualified professional photographer with the Master Photographers Association. I have a cosy studio that I use year-round for newborn photography and smaller family portraits.

Once or twice a year I transform the adjacent garage space into a dog photography studio, with black and white studio set-ups just for dogs and their owners.

How does it work?

There’s a charge of £95 on Saturdays (reduced to £75 on Thursdays), which includes:

• Digital prep and tips guide
• 15-20 minutes of studio time
• Portraits on two studio backgrounds: white and black
• Hand editing of 8-10 beautiful images
• An online viewing gallery
• One high resolution digital image of your choice

A week or so after your shoot, I’ll show you your images. At this point, you can choose what you’d like to buy. There’s no pressure whatsoever, though – I only want you to buy what you love.

You can then add on three more high resolution digitals (£125) or keep the full gallery of 8-10 images (£225) if you wish to once you see them.

Fine Art Canvas Wraps and Framed Fine Art Prints start from £295 for 16 x 16-inches. Other printed products are available on request.

Frequently asked questions

How many dogs can I bring?

Each session is ideal for one dog. If you have two or more dogs, I highly recommend booking a double session so we are not rushed.

My dog isn’t well-trained. Can I still bring him/her?

Yes. I don’t expect your dog(s) to get everything right first time, or to always understand what we want him or her to do. This is a new experience for a lot of dogs, with a new person and in a new environment, so please don’t worry if your dog isn’t well-trained. We’ll stay patient, move him or her back into position, talk calmly and use rewards to help him or her understand what we want them to do. 

To help you get the most variety out of your session, however, I do recommend that you practice your sit and wait commands with your dog(s) ahead of time.

What’s the venue?

Your session will take place at 16 Melton Road, OX26 1EX. There is plenty of free parking available.

Will other dogs be present at the same time?

There may be other dogs nearby when you arrive and leave, although during your shoot only your dog(s) will be in the photography space.

How do I book?

To book, or if you have any questions, please email me via [email protected] or pop your details in the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. Please include the names, breeds and ages of your dog(s), your preferred date/time(s) and any medical/behaviour issues I need to be aware of (such as aggression, allergies, anxiety, nervousness etc).

I’ll confirm if your preferred date and time is still available and send over an invoice with payment details and a link to an online contract.

Payment of the session fee and a digital signature on the contract completes your booking.

Can I buy a session as a gift for someone else?

Yes, absolutely, and I can send you a personalised e-Gift Certificate so you have something to print out and give (or forward on) to the recipient.
