My experience
I have three years’ experience working at a high street photography studio, combined with nearly two decades of experience as a solo photographer.
I’ve shot everything from food and drink to staff headshots as well as promotional, corporate and educational videos. My work has been featured in In the Moment magazine, MagaScene and numerous photography magazines.
I’ve co-authored two books on portrait photography, both published by Ammonite Press: Foundation Portrait Photography and Mastering Portrait Photography. Mastering Portrait Photography was reprinted after quickly selling out its first print run. It has been translated into Italian under the National Geographic brand and is now being published in German, too. It boasts a 5-star overall review rating from nearly 60 reviewers on Amazon.co.uk.
I’m now part of a small team running MasteringPortraitPhotography.com, a website dedicated to intermediate and advanced photographers who want to create world-class imagery.
I work with natural light, portable flash or studio light, depending on what my clients want to achieve.
