“I have two bosses now,” Irfan smiles, “the big boss” – he smiles towards his wife Samarah – “and the little boss”. He cuddles four-month-old Musa tighter.
Irfan is head over heels in love with his son, and he’s totally hands-on, playing and interacting with his son as much as he can.
“I always knew it would be a boy,” he said.
For Samarah, the opposite was true: “I was so sure it was a girl,” she said, “right until he was born and they told me he was a boy as they gave him to me.”
“The family are so happy to meet him and spend time with him,” Samarah told me.
I can see why. Musa – named after a prophet – is the sweetest little dude. His eyes and his smile followed me around as I set up each shot.
He was happy for me to wrap him up, swaddle-style, and also happy to wear his very smart little tux:
His big, happy smile is his dad’s favourite thing, while mum can’t pick just one. “I love everything about him,” she said.
The couple’s best moment was finally taking home from hospital, after a week’s stay inside. The little man is now in full health, and adores tickles with dad and cuddles with mum.
And with his big, gorgeous eyes and sweet little smile, I think this little boss is going to be very popular indeed!
After our shoot, Samarah said:
“We loved our family photoshoot with Sarah. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the pictures Sarah created are amazing. Sarah was excellent with our four month baby boy (Musa). Sarah didn’t take any shot/pose that Musa wasn’t comfortable with. Overall experience brilliant, 10/10 and AMAZING!!”
