Nine-month-old Chance has settled into the family incredibly smoothly. His mum told me that he’s an incredibly easy baby who is very chilled out and quick to smile.
He particularly enjoys playing peekaboo and watching Teletubbies while visiting his grandma, who lives nearby.
Chance is a very loving baby, who enjoys cuddles and lots of interaction.
He’s already on the move, showing off some seriously high speed crawling during his sitter session with me!
He also used whatever he could to pull himself up to his feet, whether that was the boxes or the sofa in the studio, or even his mum, Roxanne. This suggests it won’t be long before he’s standing up and thinking about taking his first few steps!
Roaxane is particularly in awe of Chance’s big, brown, beautiful eyes. And while it’s always lovely to capture images of big grins and giggles, sometimes the more serious expressions are best to show off someone’s features and give a more enigmatic feel to the image, like this one here:
Although Roxane primarily wanted images for Chance’s modelling portfolio, I encouraged her to get in front of the camera for one or two, as well.
These images, showing Chance being held and adored by his mum, are likely to be some of his favourites when he’s older.
Chance has two older brothers – Milo, who is 11 years’ old and Bobby, who is 5. Bobby and Chance have formed a particularly strong bond together, with Bobby asking to see and hold Chance as soon as he wakes up or gets home from school.
It’s clear that all three boys are incredibly bright, with Milo and Bobby regularly delivering a mind-blowing array of facts and opinions to their parents, and Chance taking a curious interest in his surroundings.
I’m sure it won’t be long before Chance is following in his older sibling’s footsteps with lots to tell his mum and dad!
In the meantime, there’s no rush at all for him to start speaking – he’s already such a joy and Roxanne doesn’t want the days, weeks and months to go past any faster than they already are!
“I recently attended a session with Sarah primarily to get some professional shots for my 9 month old Chance’s modelling portfolio. After initially looking at the beautiful images on Sarah’s website I decided to book in and I wasn’t disappointed. Sarah was very warm and welcoming from the start, full of helpful hints and tips to prepare for our session. Sarah soon puts you at ease with her friendly manner and clearly has alot of experience photographing people of all ages from the very youngest to the oldest! Chance responded very happily and enjoyed his session and Sarah also suggested I have a few shots of Chance and I together, so glad I did! The end results are fantastic, very beautiful timeless images that capture Chance and his character perfectly and some wonderful photos of the two of us to treasure! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah as she works really hard to ensure she delivers exactly what you are looking for and is very keen to hear your ideas but gently guide you to get the best results! Ultimately well worth the money for the beautiful images you will get to keep forever. Thank you Sarah from Roxane & Chance X”
