Bincy and her partner Deepak may be the most organised couple I’ve ever met.
On our pre-shoot consultation call, Bincy knew exactly which maternity gowns from my collection that she’d like to wear during her session with me.
She had also seen an rainbow-coloured maternity gown that she loved – and commissioned her Father-in-Law (who is a dress designer in India) to make a replica for her, getting it sent over to the UK in plenty of time.
Bincy even suggested starting off with this gown, as she was getting her hair styled to suit it and could therefore arrive ready.
Normally these are details I need to think through, so I was very grateful to Bincy for making my job easy for me!
Deepak tells me that Bincy is just as organised when it comes to everything at home, too,
The couple’s new arrival will join five-year-old Issa to make a family of four.
Issa is quite possible THE BIGGEST fan of Elsa from Frozen.
She has an Elsa dress that she loves to wear (especially to dance to Let it Go), and if she sees anything Frozen-themed in the shops, she will do her best to get mum to buy it for her!
When Issa found out that mum had a baby in her tummy, she was very clear that she wanted a sister, not a boy!
Happily, the new arrival will be a little girl, so Issa is especially excited.
In addition, mum is scheduled in for a C-section the day after Issa’s school closes for the summer holidays, so that means that Issa can fully focus on her new role of Big Sister!
Indeed, as you would expect in such an organised household, the family are already booked in for their newborn photoshoot with me.
Bincy’s mum and dad – Alice and Pailan – will be joining us for that one, as they are coming over to stay and support Bincy and the family for six months.
This means I’ll have the rare and precious honour of capturing three generations together, which I’m very excited about – almost as excited as Issa is about finally meeting her little sister!
