Headshots with James Parker

It’s impossible not to like James: his cheeky confidence, his passion for entrepreneurship and great sense of humour always make for compelling company.

Indeed, he and his wonderful family (lovely wife Laura, and adorable sons Joseph, 2, and Joshua, who turns one later this year) are some of my favourite clients.

I’ve been lucky to have photographed Joseph’s newborn photoshoot (see the images here), Joseph’s first birthday photoshoot (see the images here) and Joshua’s newborn photoshoot (see the images here).

The family are already booked in for Joshua’s first birthday photoshoot, and I can’t wait to see how much Joseph and Joshua have grown since I last saw them – and which of their mum and dad’s traits they’ve inherited!

This time, though, James was the star of the show. He’s just launched his own business, and needed some professional headshots to enable new clients to see who they’ll be working with.

He’ll be building his own brand as a recruitment consultant, specialising in placing candidates into roles within the engineering industry.

James is one of the hardest working yet kindest people you’ll ever meet, so if you or anyone you know is looking for jobs or staff within the engineering sector, do get in contact with him.

He’s particularly enjoyed being involved in the design process for his brand, coming up with the perfect name to represent the sector he’ll be working in: Watt People.

When he’s not working, James is most likely to be with his family or church community, ideally enjoying good food and music while discussing cars and motorbikes! He also loves a relaxing day at the spa (Pennyhill is his favourite) and a trip to Cornwall with the family.

Wherever he travels, and whomever he’s with, one thing is sure: there will be lots of smiles, grins and laughter – but a good day’s work done, too!
