Surendra and Vimla first heard about me through Vimla’s sister-in-law, Soni.
Soni and her partner, Prabin, had recently brought their handsome newborn baby into the studio to capture his first professional photos (see the images here).
This family connection meant that although Surendra and Vimla live in Swindon, they were able to spend the night before our photoshoot more locally, by staying over at Soni and Prabin’s home in Bicester.
Subim has a big sister, Wishbi, who is nine years’ old. Wishbi loves two things most of all: reading (her current novel-in-progress is Harry Potter) and cycling.
Happily, Surendra loves cycling too, so they often enjoy exploring new routes together on their bikes.
Wishbi has been asking for a sibling for a long, long time, so she was especially pleased to hear that she’d soon have a little brother.
Surendra tells me that Wishbi has been incredibly helpful, from the fun stuff like helping to feed and play with Subim right through to changing his nappy, too!
Subim absolutely adores his sister, particularly when she plays peek-a-boo with him, tickles him or watches CoComelon (a colourful nursery rhymes show) with him.
For Surendra, the highlights of parenthood so far have been those moments of joy when the children do something sweet.
In more recent years, he’s also had the opportunity to listen to Wishbi and help her work through any challenges she’s facing, whether that’s by talking through a difficult situation or offering a few words of carefully chosen advice.
Surendra was especially hoping for a couple of lovely family photos from our session, with everyone interacting or smiling at the camera, to go on the wall on the stairway landing and the living room wall.
I hope you’ll agree that he and Vimla will be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding which images of their perfect family of four to display. 🙂
