I’ve been lucky enough to watch this sweet family grow ever since their second child, Evelyn, arrived.
Mum Alex and dad Stephen brought Evelyn in as a newborn so we could capture their new family of four (see the images here).
A year later, they returned for Evelyn’s first birthday cake smash (see the images here), and one year after that they welcomed little Emilia into the fold (see the images here).
All of a sudden, another year has passed, and all three sisters have grown and changed so much since I last saw them.
At five, Eloise is the oldest, and is currently in Year 1 at school.
She particularly enjoys drawing and colouring, happily whiling away many contented hours as she fills page after page with her creations.
Eloise also enjoys writing stories. Her mum tells me that these stories don’t always make a lot of a sense, but they are very sweet!
When she’s not creating written or visual art, Eloise can be found in ballet class, where she’s enjoy learning her first classical dance moves.
Three-year-old Evelyn is Eloise’s biggest fan.
She’ll follow Eloise around like a little shadow, copying her big sister’s drawing and colouring actions by scribbling on her own sheet of paper.
Like many siblings, the pair have a tumultuous relationship: one minute the very best of friends, the next minute not so much!
Baby sister Emilia loves spending time with her big sisters, and tries her hardest to keep up with them as she pursues them on all fours – luckily she’s a speedy crawler!
She’s starting to find her feet for her first steps, so soon all three of them will be zipping around the house, while giggling away!
Emilia is very chilled out and content, although she does have a penchant for noisy toys, whether it’s making a drum out of any hard surface or playing with the trumpet-rattle Eloise picked out for her!
Emilia recently celebrated her first birthday, with the family hosting other children the same age for a day of cake and celebrations.
This milestone gave us the chance to create a new set of images as well as a treat for me: watching this family grow each year has very much become an annual highlight for me! ?
