Lisa and Ciaran are childhood sweethearts who met back when they were both 17. They attended different schools but were both studying business, and encountered each other on a school trip aimed at developing their entrepreneurship.
They didn’t speak much on the day itself, but Ciaran contacted Lisa afterwards through MySpace, saying that she seemed nice and he’d like to get to know her more.
They started dating, found out they had matching easy-going personalities, and the rest – as they say – is history.
16 years later, and they’ve just welcomed baby Eleanor to the family, who joins big brother Tommy to complete this happy family of four.
Lisa had worried that four-week-old Eleanor would be too old for a newborn photoshoot, but as you can see she was an absolute star and perfectly content, particularly once she was snuggled up in a beautiful swaddle!
After the long wait (a month pregnancy is FOREVER when you’re five years old!), Tommy was delighted to finally meet his sister.
He told me he particularly loves cuddling her and I also got to hear Tommy sing ‘Baa, Baa, Black Sheep’ to her, as well.
He will also repeat anything a grown-up says around him, which is super-cute and also very funny, particularly when he starts soothing Eleanor with the exact same words and sounds his mum and dad use!
Tommy has just started school and is loving it, particularly as he gets to play with the toy trains at school and spend time with his friends.
The day of the family’s newborn photoshoot with me was during Tommy’s first half term holiday. He has particularly enjoyed a sleepover with his grandparents the day before, especially as his nana took him pottery painting, too!
He also loves Paw Patrol and playing with his Lego, and can’t wait for Eleanor to get to an age where he can teach her all the games he wants to play with her!
In the meantime, Tommy has proved himself to already be the best big brother a new baby could have, with a warmer welcome into the family than mum and dad could have even dreamed of ?
“We cannot recommend Sarah enough after our recent newborn photoshoot. From booking the photoshoot all the way to receiving our photos, Sarah was professional yet friendly throughout. Sarah was fantastic with both our newborn daughter and our 4 year old and we were all made to feel very welcome and comfortable. We were amazed at how quickly we were able to view the online gallery and over the moon with how the photos turned out. Sarah is not just a fantastic photographer but a lovely person too who we would not hesitate to use again in the future.”
