Steph last updated her headshot with a quick selfie during the lockdown period, and decided it was time to get one done professionally.
Steph is in charge of project managing some of the top-brand apps that deliver our TV streaming services.
She initially fell into project management by accident, but found it suits her perfectly.
She’s not technically detailed herself, but has a gift for getting the right experts in the right roles and ensuring all the components link and work together for a seamless user experience.
The biggest reward of her role is the ability to deliver finished projects, through which she can see the impact she’s making.
Indeed, the only downside of her job is that watching TV now feels a little too work-related rather than a way of relaxing!
Instead, she prefers to spend her time with her son, Alex, her partner, Richard, and their much-loved red fox Labrador, Oren.
Oren is the Welsh word for ‘orange’, and was picked by Richard, who was born in South Wales.
Oren is three years old, which means the family got him before red fox labradors became the ‘on-trend’ dog breed to have, thanks to Jeremy Clarkson’s TV show!
Oren is super sweet and handsome, but does love sticking to a routine. He has learned when and how the family move around the house during the day, and likes to stay one step ahead of everyone by bounding up the stairs just as the humans are about to!
Oren knows that the appearance of Steph’s yellow suitcases means that she’s going away, and does his best to convince her to stay home with him instead with his big sorrowful eyes.
When she’s not working or spending time with Oren and the family, Steph enjoys watching the rugby, including her son’s team.
Steph is not the shy and retiring type, and can be counted on to loudly cheer on all the players from the sidelines!
Indeed, after her headshot session with me Steph headed over to attend a GCSE fair to help Alex pick which subjects to pursue next year, followed by watching him at rugby training.
She’ll be the most glamorous mum on the sidelines, thanks to booking in a makeover ahead of her headshot session, but I don’t imagine any of the other spectators will hold that against her: Steph is the loveliest, friendliest person, with a full and easy laugh and a directness that makes for a fast and witty conversation.
I can see that it would be an absolute joy to be on the sidelines next to her, or working alongside her to get a big, crucial multimillion pound project over the line. And now, Steph finally has a headshot that is as professional as she is. 🙂
