Family photoshoot with Sachi and Avani

I last saw this gorgeous family when little Sachi was just three months old (see the images here).

In my mind, Sachi stayed a sleepy, nearly-newborn bundle, so it was a delightful surprise to welcome the family back and see how much she’s grown.

Two-year-old Sachi is full of life and character, walking confidently straight into the studio and telling me that yes, she did remember meeting me before!

Sachi loves to sing and dance, and her mum Sona is fairly sure she’ll become a performer when she grows up.

Sachi was as pleased as punch to introduce me to ‘the baby’, her little sister Avani.

Six-month-old Avani is super relaxed and smiley, and loves her food more than anything!

Sachi will do anything to make her sister laugh.

Her current favourite trick is to bounce on the bed and pretend to fall over: no-one makes Avani giggle quite as loudly as her sister, and slapstick humour seems to be right up their street!

Sachi also has a really sweet side: mum will park little Avani up in her tiny rocking chair, only to find her surrounded by soft toys when she checks in on her, because Sachi has fetched them all to keep Avani company. 🥰

Sona and Nitesh have been making the most of shared parental leave, whisking the family away to Dubai, Mauritius, Portugal and the Canary Islands.

They met up with loads of friends and family across the different destinations, including visiting people they hadn’t seen for a decade or even longer!

This means it’s hard to pick a favourite highlight, as there were so many special moments to remember.

The family’s passports won’t get too much of a break, however, as there are also plans to head to Cyprus and Poland for weddings later this year.

Sachi will also be hoping the family make it to Peppa Pig world: the pink character is one of her favourites.

In the meantime, the family are looking forward to updating their wall art, adding images that include all four of them.

And after their most recent session with me, I hope you’ll agree that they’ll be spoiled for choice. 😊
