After a super-smooth pregnancy, Hannah and Danny welcomed their little girl, Noa, into the world.
They popped into my photography studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire, when Noa was five days’ old, so we could capture some beautiful newborn photos while she was still tiny.
Hannah and Danny have known each other for long time, and love spending their days socialising and dog walking. Both of them are self-employed, which means they can support each other in business as well as life.
They are really excited about becoming parents, and their family are super excited to start getting to know their new grand-daughter.
Even if parents choose not to be in any of the portraits with their newborn, I have a few sneaky ways to show the love, connection and tiny size of the new arrival using just mum and dad’s hands:
I love it when clients bring their own items to their newborn shoots. Sometimes it’s a teddy that used to belong to a much-missed grandparent. Sometimes it’s a shawl or piece of fabric that’s of huge sentimental value, perhaps one that was used to nurse mum or dad when they were young. And sometimes it’s a cute and cuddly toy that baby can snuggle up with.
When Hannah and Danny showed me the amazing soft-toy elephant they wanted to include, I knew exactly how I wanted to include it: cuddling and protecting little Noa. 🙂
I think you’ll agree that Noa looks absolutely adorable in all the photos, but she’s especially cute nestled into this gentle beast.
After receiving Noa’s newborn photos, Hannah said:
“We loved our photo shoot with Sarah, pictures are amazing! Lovely relaxed atmosphere & customer service was brilliant! Definitely recommend her!”
