Tehreem and Noreen are sisters, and to their dad, his princesses. So is there room in their dad’s heart for another special girl in the family? Happily, the answer is ‘yes’ 🙂
Noreen and her partner Sal have recently welcomed sweet little Rania into the family, and their dad is besotted. She is, he says, his ‘grand princess’ 🙂
Love and affection are at the very heart of this family, who have all been drawn together from the four corners of the world for a very special event this winter: a family wedding here in the UK.
That’s been great news for Tehreem, as her sister has travelled back from Australia to take part in the celebrations.
Tehreem and Noreen have been best friends since they were little, but 18 months ago Noreen moved to Australia with Sal to pursue work opportunities and a better quality of work/life balance.
“I was fine when Noreen got married and moved out of the family home to London,” Tehreem told me, “Because I was still able to see her every week.
“But saying goodbye to her at the airport when she left for Australia was really hard – I miss her so much!”
They have been making the most of their time together while Noreen is over for a few weeks, especially as this was the first time Tehreem met her new niece, Rania.
Rania is an absolute joy, happy from the moment she wakes up to when she goes back to sleep. At three months, she is starting to interact with those around her, so it’s a really special time for Tehreem to get to know her.
That’s why Tehreem booked a family photoshoot with me. She wanted to capture these very special days with her new niece, so she can remember how sweet Rania is, and how perfect to hold.
And when her sister returns to Australia shortly, she will have these images to remind her of how much fun they had during their time together this year. 🙂
After seeing the images, Tehreem said:
“They are lovely! I’m in love! It’s my first proper [photography] experience and I’m speechless so thank you!”
