I last met Abbie and Charlie at their maternity photoshoot with me (see the photos here) so it was an absolute pleasure to welcome them back into the studio, this time as a brand new family of three ð
When I saw them at the end of October, they were racing to complete the last bits of major renovation work on time, and now only have some finishing details needed to complete the dream interior of their beautiful farmhouse.
This was especially fortunate as baby Raegan made an appearance five days early! Thankfully, she doesnât seem to mind a bit of background noise, so the workforce have been able to crack on with the last steps of the process.
Raeganâs beautiful name is of Irish origin, and means ânobilityâ or âdescended from kingsâ in Gaelic.
Her middle names are âAvaâ and âLissaâ, the second of which is in honour of Abbieâs mum.
Charlie fell in love with stunning Abbie when he first saw her. It took a few years before they started dating, but now theyâve recently celebrated over a decade together as a couple.
Abbie describes Charlie as a âbig kidâ and heâs certainly been full of energy and enthusiasm both times Iâve met him.
He canât wait to take Raegan to Legoland and Peppa Pig world, and teach her how to ride a bike. Heâs loved every moment of becoming a dad so far, and is even talking about their next baby already!
Abbie has 11 nieces and nephews so sheâs very used to being around little ones. Sheâs looking forward to building a really open and honest relationship with her daughter, so that Raegan always feels able to confide in her. Abbie hopes theyâll be best of friends, going out shopping and playing sports together.
And the good news is that theyâve done the hard work upfront. Now that the farmhouse renovation is nearly complete, they can focus all their time and attention on getting to know Raegan, and look forward to all those new experiences with her as she grows up with her fab mum and dad ð
