Newborn photos with two-week-old Leo 

I last met this lovely family in May last year. Anna and Dom brought their son Michael in for some family photos when he was 18 months’ old (see the photos here).

At that time, Michael was particularly in love with buses. His favourite nursery rhyme was ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ and his favourite toy was a small double decker in classic red.

Sadly, due to the pandemic, Michael hadn’t been able to go on a bus yet, although he always enjoyed seeing them when they drove past.

Finally, as things started to become a bit safer, Anna was able to take him onboard, which he absolutely loved.

Clearly, that experience has only fuelled his enthusiasm, as now he is just as passionate about all vehicles: cars, trains, planes and even rockets!

I think this little guy might grow up to be a Transport Planner, a Pilot or even an Astronaut at this rate!

He’s since had his second birthday, which the family celebrated in January by going to Oxford’s Story Museum, which even has a bus you can sit in (and pretend to be the driver!).

That was just the start of a very exciting year, however, with his baby brother Leo arriving at the end of January.

Anna told me that Michael has taken to his sibling really well, and could hardly wait for mum and dad to bring him through the front door.

Michael is constantly going over to look at Leo and saying, ‘Hello, baby!” to him and seems generally unfazed by having a new little person in the house!

Anna and Dom are both the youngest in their families, and both have big brothers of their own (plus three older sisters, too, in Dom’s case!), so they know just how precious that relationship is in life.

Indeed, as long as Leo has just a passing interest in vehicles I think these brothers are going to get along just fine 🙂
