Jonathan and Theresa went to the same school and stayed in contact afterwards.
Over time, they started seeing each other as much more than friends, leading to the happy day they got married five years ago.
Since then they’ve been settling into life together, recently moving to one of the area’s most charming towns: Woodstock.
Patience’s recent arrival takes the family to four, as she has joined the family’s first ‘baby’, a Hungarian Cross Fox Red Labrador called Winston.
Jonathan and Theresa were very conscious that Winston might feel he’s lost his place in their world, so they’ve made sure to give him plenty of attention.
Winston is very aware and interested in Patience’s arrival, and is sniffing lots to get used to the scent of a new human in the house.
However, he’s an incredibly soft-hearted dog, and gets very concerned when he hears Patience cry.
That doesn’t happen too often, however, as Patience lives up to her name and is incredibly chilled out.
Her laid-back nature was one of the things Patience’s parents wanted me to capture during her newborn photoshoot with me, especially as it’s something she’s inherited from them.
Indeed, Jonathan told me that they’ve lost whole hours of the day simply staring at Patience, watching her every move and falling in love with her all over again.
Jonathan and Theresa particularly love images with the baby swaddled – an experience which Patience absolutely loved as it makes her feel super snug and cosy.
This couple were looking for something iconic to go on their living room wall, showing them as a family, showing off their new daughter and welcoming her into the world.
Hopefully you’ll agree they’ll be spoilt for choice with all these images of perfect little Patience with her super proud mum and dad. 🙂
