Family photoshoot with three-month-old Sachi

New mum Sona told me that daughter Sachi was far too sweet to have inherited any of her genes.

However, having met Sona and her husband Nitesh, I can see exactly how Sachi has turned out to be such a joyful, happy and beautiful baby.

Nitesh is beloved by every child he’s ever met, with a really playful personality and bags of patience.

Stunning Sona is absolutely besotted with Sachi, and loves how teeny tiny she is.

Both mum and daughter LOVE their sleep, with Sachi lasting a maximum of about an hour or so before she needs another nap.

Indeed, little Sachi even sleeps in the same pose as her mum: superman style with one hand reaching above her head!

Both Sona and Nitesh hope Sachi will inherit her dad’s amazing curly hair – Sona’s hair is thick and beautiful, but – like mine – it doesn’t hold a curl for long!

As well as being full of smiles and interaction, Sachi is also very wriggly, considering every swaddle to be an escape puzzle that she needs to get out from! 

Happily, after tiring her out with lots of peekaboo and cuddles with her mum and dad, Sachi finally succumbed to slumber, enabling us to get some newborn-style images of her snoozing away.

Sona and Nitesh met at a work event, which Nitesh was attending as a management consultant. They hit it off and the rest – as they say – is history.

This photoshoot was a kind gift by a family friend, Aarti.

Aarti’s mum has known Sona’s mum since they were four-year-old children growing up in Africa, so it’s lovely to see that friendship has passed on to the next generation!

Sona and Nitesh are planning to send some of the images from their photoshoot with me to family, in the UK and around the world. 

For this they wanted some images of Sachi smiling, and some with her loving mum and dad gazing at her adoringly.

Sachi was happy to comply with not only smiles but giggles, too, and I think her extended family will be delighted with the results – mission accomplished! 🙂
