I first met Corinne through Bicester Rabble, a gamified exercise group that meets every Monday.

I then created some images of Corinne with her daughter, Orla as a Father’s Day surprise for Liam a couple of years ago.

More recently, over this summer, I’ve met up with Corrine, Orla and new arrival Charlie to create some new images for my upcoming book, 52 Assignments: Family Photography.

So when Corinne told me she’d like to update their family photos now that Charlie is here, I was delighted to get to spend time with all four of them together.

Orla has seen me so many times now that she wasn’t shy at all, bundling straight into the living room (and exploring all the other rooms, too!).

At nearly three years old, she’s already shown an aptitude for several different career paths: she loves playing with mum’s hair, so working as a stylist is one option.
She also loves building with blocks, so could also take after her engineer dad – watch this space!

In contrast to Orla’s high energy comings and goings, Charlie was content to sit and watch everything going on around him.
He’s incredibly chilled out, and has THE cutest curls imaginable:

The family love getting out and about together, making use of their Blenheim and National Trust passes and adventuring further afield, too.

Liam told me they are hoping to display a set of images in the living room, on the wall behind the sofa, from their session with me.
When a client shares this with me, I’m always looking to ensure I shoot images that will work well in that space, so that Liam and Corinne have a good selection to pick from; hopefully you’ll agree that they have plenty of choice just from the favourites I’ve shared here!
