If you meet Senga, you’ll quickly learn three things: she’s nosey (her words), she’s got a razor-sharp sense of humour, and she’s not the kind of woman who does things halfway.
So when she booked a boudoir session with me, I knew it was going to be something special.
She’s an investigative officer by day, a sunset chaser by holiday, and a sweet-potato-and-chicken-for-breakfast devotee.
Her life is busy, structured, and full-on, so her boudoir shoot was her moment to just be her.
No work hat, no responsibilities. Just confidence, femininity, and a little bit of mischief, all as a special surprise for her partner, Jordan, for their one-year wedding anniversary.

When she arrived, we chatted about her upcoming trip to Tenerife with her husband.
What started as a romantic escape quickly turned into a party—her parents, another couple, and even her uncle jumped on board.
Normally, she’s a ‘fly and flop’ kind of traveller, but this time, inspired by a friend who’s moved to Devon, she has thrown in a few sunrise hikes, too.
Turns out, long walks and warm weather are her happy place—especially if there’s a good pub or restaurant waiting at the end of it!

Jordan and Senga got married just over a year ago, but their story began long before that—when Senga was a nanny and Jordan was the plumber working on the family’s home.
He took an interest in the the shy youngest child’s fridge magnets, winning her over one by one. That small act of kindness stuck with Senga.
By the time the job ended, Jordan had unknowingly made himself the highlight of Senga’s day. And perhaps no plumber in history has been offered so many cups of tea…

At home, it’s a well-balanced partnership: she cooks, he tidies. Reme, their Staffy, rules the downstairs with a wagging tail and absolutely no understanding of personal space. (She’s banned from the bedroom, but that doesn’t stop her trying.)
Senga is the sort of woman who doesn’t take herself too seriously but knows her worth. During the shoot, she laughed, giggled, and fully embraced the moment.
We talked about everything—from her YouTube-learned crochet skills (blankets for babies are her signature gift) to her latest reading project: a dark romance novel her friend just finished writing.

Senga doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone, but she wanted a stunning set of boudoir images to delight her partner and celebrate who she is right now: bold, busy, curious, and full of contradictions.
Agnes spelled backwards, after all, makes Senga—a name, like the woman herself, that turns the traditional on its head.
