Professional Headshots & Promo Video for Coriden

Coriden Francis is an Oxford University English graduate who has tutored children for 11+ entrance exams in English for over 10 years, in London and internationally.

Coriden got in contact after seeing the family photos I captured of her nieces and nephew. She was looking for a photographer who could help with a business-focused shoot, to project the right balance of professionalism and approachability on her new website.

She was after two things: some professional headshots that she could use on her website and social media, and a short promotional video that would help parents get to know her a little more.

The brief for the headshots was in two parts: as well as some standard head shots, Coriden was looking for ‘at work’ images with her on the right-hand-side of the image frame, which would work well on her Coriden English Tuition website.

For part of the brief, we created a simple office set-up in the studio. This meant we could keep the image clean and simple with beautifully flattering lighting, while still showing Coriden at work. Images like these are incredibly flexible, as you can extend the white background as much as you need to fit into your design:

With website visitors making a decision about your homepage within just a few seconds, great visuals are essential to making a strong first impression.

These headshots and this video help to convey Coriden’s passion for what she does and the care she puts into the details, showing prospective clients that she’s the best person to help their child ace their English exams 🙂
